Problem: The Uncertain Future of Career Prospects

Fear: As a student personally I am working hard to acquire a degree in a course of my choice, but will I finally make a fruitful career out of it.
Dilemma: Given my limited experience in learning should I opt for a job or become an entrepreneur.

I worry that I may not be fit or ready to become a part of the workforce.

Before it is too late, can someone please empathize with my problem and help by answering a few Basic Questions:

1. Is my choice of undergraduate degree and acquired knowledge actually enough or do I need to acquire some other or more relevant skills.

2. If so, how do I prepare, and who do I get the information from?

3. Can I acquire the required new skills along with my degree. What time framework am I looking at.

4. When do I start preparing, is it a gradual learning process or can I get it just before completion of my degree when placements happen.

5. Who can help me get ready to face the world of opportunities.

6. If I need guidance for personality development and assurances on my path of preparation who do I approach.

7. Is it possible for me to realise my Career Goals with PPO and FPO at same time of completion of degree.

My main aim is to become the BEST in what I do, in the SHORTEST time possible. I am hardworking and diligent and willing to learn and appreciate knowledge acquisition, but frankly I am very scared of hearing two awful words, IF ONLY….

(Oh now it’s too late, you are a failure or misfit).

I don’t want any reference to my past lack of interest or laziness in preparedness, as actually I NEVER KNEW. I am a Rational Individual who wants to maximize my WELFARE with good earning opportunities with OPTIMAL efforts put in at the RIGHT time.

Can someone please address this ISSUE that me and my peer group face.
